It's my goal to have this forum less serious. The threads were humorous when viewed individually, but they all seem incoherent/confusing when combined as one. I am irritated when an entertaining ordeal is degraded to one of meaningless.

You should know, The Lobby is on-topic while Siberia, etc. are off-topic. Both areas have no limitations about the topic, but in this part of the forum the discussions are supposed to be serious.
How are we defining serious? What is the 'topic' for this area exactly? The title of this section, The Longue, implies that this is a place for us to relax and engage in casual conversation, which we were certainly doing in a friendly manner. This is essentially a place for members to socialize in general, and I would define this place as category #1 for this purpose.
You suggested that we should be engaging in these conversations within the Siberia section, but this title implies it is a location for outcasts. This place has a separate purpose and a diferent category, which I shall define as category #2. It was a place suspended people to post inside in the past, which indicates that it is mainly a place for inappropriate content and undesirable individuals.
I would not classify my behaviour or the other people's behaviour as 'inappropriate' or 'ruthless'. In my opinion, it should be classified as 'casual' and 'member-related', which would mean it should logically be in the Longue, category #1, instead of the Sibera section, category #2.

Face, I loved the seriousness of this forum. I think the reason so many responded to you in a harsh way was because you were (now, admittedly) threatening their safe haven, the forum. For you, an ENFP, maybe this place seems too serious but for me this place was the one place I felt like I could belong properly.
I want this place to be about understanding, knowledge, learning. Not about having mindless fun. It's okay every once in a while, but it is not the goal of this forum. I certainly don't want that. I think you need to understand you are in the INTP forum, and we are mostly serious, and this is NOT a bad thing.

An INTP's definition of fun would be analysing and creating systems, I think.
But the moment I see some kind of incompetency in me (especially in areas where I want to achieve), I get into serious self-doubt leading to depression and/or anxiety.
I have a real ENFP friend and it is she who I turn to in this situation, and she has the same effect on me as Face does on this forum: Spreading cheer. It pulls me back to life.
I value that a lot, and I won't question Face's presence here for that reason. If s/he's interrupting a serious discussion, I think all that needs to be done is to notify hir that s/he is causing that effect.

Well, as long those seeking fun and cheery-being and those seeking serious discussions can respect each others pursuit without hindering each other (or just the other one), everything should be fine.
(Oh and btw, i am perfectly aware that "How some moderators seem to be assholes!" was probably directly aimed at me. What Face fails to see is that i have both, fun and serious discussions, on this forum and the ircchat , it just doesn't involve him/her/it. And that Face ticks off at every little maybe-showing of authority is really not my problem. Actually, most of the times i just think to myself "Lol.")
