So I was pretty active on this forum a while back, recently got an email about some birthday or something and was just curious and came back.

Reading some of my old threads I cringe a lot because of how angry I am, but a lot of it I still stand by, not sure why I'm saying that, I just cringe at some of it, particularly one thread, so I'm just expressing that so people know (then it's less... Embarrassing?)

Anyway, I was just curious how many of the people who were active 'back then' still are now?

I recognise some names from the threads I checked but many have been banned?

Generally what I "cringe" about in my old posts such as in the 'psychiatrist' thread for example. My attitude is just very...... Teenager?

But people like Bird I still find to be complete idiots and I still stand by many of the things I've 'argued' on this forum.

I think the reason why I never did well with most people on this forum is because I was never here to find 'friends' or to 'hang out' - I was here for intellectual stimulation, to have dialectics, to challenge people and to be challenged. Something I found very quickly was not the goal of most people.

I'm not sure, but I think he rubbed a bunch of people the wrong way and went from being a devil's advocate to a troll that wanted to belittle the fact that people have boundaries. Or maybe that's what I saw for a while up to the point that he got banned. I dunno and I imagine there will be different explanations, depending on who you ask.

I'll always miss Melll. A lot of people weren't fans of him, especially by the end of his stay here, but I kinda liked the guy.

No, though believe you me the topic has been discussed to death over the thinly spread canvas of every thread that was active at the time. There's a lot of information in here pertaining to BAP's death. There are plots for other ex-members in the crypt sub-forum too.

I personally find it mind-blowing that the Great Purge of 2014 was Great enough to spur / warrant the creation of a subforum for lamenting those lost.
