Well, since I just joined this forum a few days ago, I feel like I need to say hi. I'm really glad that I've found this forum: Finally a place where I can interact with people who are like me.
Btw, sorry if I make some grammar mistakes, English is not my first language, and I never use English in everyday life. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Selamat pagi teman!

That's about all the Indonesian I can remember aside from a few other basic things and some swear words :phear:

Thanks guys! If you want to learn some basic Indonesian, I can teach you.

What is your quest?

I just live in this place, but it somehow pisses me off...

How's Indonesia lately?

Just fine, but the changes of the curriculum makes us students a bit frustrated :( And there are also some political problems, but that's none of my business

Hello.
A couple of phrases in Indonesian would be neat.

For a little bit introduction:
Nama saya adalah... (My name is...)
Saya suka... (I like...)

Well, 'saya' is the formal form of 'I'. The semiformal one is 'aku', and the non-formal is 'gue' or 'gua'. So you can replace the 'saya' in the sentences above with 'aku' or 'gue'/'gua'. Almost everyone uses 'gue'/'gua', but honestly I prefer 'aku', it feels more polite and friendly. With the three 'forms' (formal, semiformal, and non-formal), indonesian may sound very complicated, but it is actually very simple if you already know the key.

And here are some everyday phrases
Kurang kerjaan = (adj.) Lack of activity a.k.a nothing to do (usually to comment someone who does unnecessary or weird things; they do it because they have nothing to do)
Jones (Jomblo ngenes) = (adj. or noun) (someone) single but desperately looking for a partner.
Mati saja kau (semiformal)/Mati aja lu (non-formal) = The indonesian form of "Go to hell", but it actually means "You should just die". My people don't want each other to go to hell XD. This phrase is usually used when someone pisses you off, like when someone gets a 100 of 0 in a test while other gets 60s.

Well, I think that would be enough for now :3
