Anywho: Hey! I'm Dray!

I've suspected I was an INTP for a while, but I recently read "The Secret Lives of INTPs" and was surprised by just how (eerily) spot on some of the descriptions were. It mentioned this forum, and so here I am!
(I'm really just trying to find any excuse to put off my vectors homework.)


Previously I had only been aware of reddit's r/intp forum, but that wasn't really what I was looking for.

Anyway, it should be interesting talking to (potentially?) similarly-minded people!

How is the reddit side? Smaller subreddits don't really seem worth it due to lack of activity.

Eh, it's just very... reddit. INTP is actually the most populous of the NT forums that I know of, but I suspect it's flooded with mis-types. That, or for some reason it's just fairly unrelatable. Idk, the environment just seems different.

Munk is a guy who was recently banned and comes back with alt accounts whenever he feels like posting. Imagining him who is very serious and emotionless resorting to comic sans to pretend to be someone else was hilarious to me.

Yeah, I just stumbled onto the permaban post while looking for recent posts and figured out what you meant. I then proceeded to have one of those (OH GOD THEY THINK IM NOT ME DONT ACT SUSPICIOUS) moments, and I was gonna explain, but then I was like, they'll think that's weird, cause "nobody would figure out such an oddly specific scenario so fast", except I kinda suspected something was up cause of the context... (I've seen stuff like that on forums before)

Uh, anyway.

It really can seem like it, but trust me, I'm not. Well I really doubt it.

I'm sure I'm a lot more outgoing than a lot of introverts, but I still feel that "back to normalcy" feeling when I'm finally alone.

Also I've heard ENTPs love debating. Like, just for the sake of doing it. I argue to convince people, if they seem open to it, and are worth convincing. If not, I feel like it's a real waste of my precious precious time. I want to be right- who cares what anyone else thinks! There's a million other wrong people out there, and there's no use helping them!
At least, that's what I tell myself.
I don't go around saying that.
That'd be pretty conceited...
It's just that this is a forum where we talk about what we think and...

It's different on the internet, in meatspace you have to be snappy and get your point in under thirty words because if someone doesn't agree with you they won't stand around patiently while you rattle off a thousand words of explanation.

Point is.. not all people of a given type are the same in all respects and the proper way to type is not by stereotyped profiles but by function analysis. I look through your posts and they start with Ne and then go onto Ti so you are an ENTP.. ENTPs are said to be "introverted extroverts".
