my infp friend (who i am on the phone with currently) says as advice "get off your fucking computer and just talk to your girlfriend. you should take the same advice"
my infp girlfriend hung up for some reason while I was typing that out? Anyway, I have a joke:

A boy is about to go on his first date, and he asks his dad what he should talk about. The dad says, "son, girls like to talk about three things: food, family and philosophy."
So the boy as at dinner, and there's a pause in the conversation. The boy looks down and then says "so, do you like sushi?"
She says, "no."
The boy pauses again, but then asks, "Do you have a brother?"
"Nope." She says.
The boy looks down in his lap for a second, and then asks "If you had a brother, would he like sushi?"

My previously mentioned INFP gf and I have talked about preparing material for conversation. She
never does, the conversation always just flows for her. I sometimes suspect that it's because she doesn't contribute nearly as much to conversations, but the thing is that you have to bring up ideas to
prime the conversation. Once it gets going, it can just roll and you two can go from tangent to tangent.
I've prepared talking points before. Yeah, it's silly, and my INFP gf thinks it's absurd. I don't do it anymore, but when I was a young not-well-rounded INTP I did.
I'd go for interesting anecdotes from your recent life (anywhere from the last half year to the last week- with a preference on recent) that involve
people. INFPs are all about the people-connections, ya know.
--- and i just read what was previously posted. You told her your secret haven of INTPness! I know the INTPforum is freaking entertaining, but
now she is going to lurk here and read everything you ever posted.
Good luck. And all the other posts were quality suggestions.
God help you.
Aww Crabs, were you a casualty of love?
