Ok that's a tad dramatic, more like an inconvenience negation suit, there's been a lot of inconveniences lately what with the pandemic and the bush fires and then there's the usual nonsense like cold snaps, heatwaves, plagues of insects like locusts or flies.

It probably doesn't need to be hermetically sealed but it will need some kind of breathing apparatus that negates the threat of viruses and injury causing particulates (like ash and asbestos) and protection from bad smells would be nice but I don't want to carry a scuba tank around.

I'd like it to have physical protection at least in terms of thermal insulation and UV radiation, some level of bite/cut resistance is good too, and some kind of thermal management system so I'm not going to die of heatstroke wearing it.

Any ideas?

YES, I have a normal human amount of interest in this.
so, as far as armor, nothing really beats leather, at ease of making, and current supply. avatar is mask liner Im making, with goggles built in. On armor, you can completely cover ears, and just have large metal ones, attached to metal panel on helmet, they will pick up sound, and you could hear the same way a snake does.
as far as respirator goes, imo easiest would be a water filtration system, but you must have cyclones to improve efficiency, so it would work with magnets, and electromagnets on outside. the way you have automatic stir electromagnet in chemistry burners, you just put magnet into beaker, and electromagnet spins it. I have a few more ideas, erm, using car leaf springs, and old ski boots, you could make jump stilts. jump stilts allow for higher top speed, higher jumping, all at less energy use. so if you want to catch someone, or something...

Also, a fold down binocular would be best, rather than scope sights, use helmet mounted binocular with iron sights. very simple design, just using ball bearing (would want 2 imo) and springs, with indentions to hold optic.

Also, having horns on sides, would allow for gouging, if someone tried grabbing you, or you could just grab their hands...and...kill them with ur head.

EDIT: as far as heat goes, you could probably just have integrated heat sinks, in important spots. you could make leather staggered, or overlapping, with some space, that air can flow into. for self defense, powerful uv flashlight would be pretty effective on people not protected.

On the topic of cooling:

I think having something cold to hold like a cult mechanicus axe but with a refrigerated handle and some refrigerated gel pads on my cheeks and forehead could provide the most cooling with the least technical effort. Of course the axe would be impractical but a metal pole could have other attachments to make it useful, like a light or an upsized center punch mechanism in the base for opening locked doors or shattering the toes of the unwary.

Leather is interesting but expensive, a material I like using for fixing things and prototyping is Plastimake:

I've made surprisingly tough masks with Plastimake molded to the shape of my face, just be sure to use some cling wrap if you don't want to lose your eyebrows and put some stick-on foam pads on the inside because the plastic is a very poor conductor of heat so without an air gap your face will get hot and sweaty very quickly.

Leather is actually extremely cheap, or it is here. local shop sells entire sides of cows for 25$, not as pretty as expensive stuff.

Im wondering where plasti make has been my entire life, jesus. Once you paint it, it would be sealed, and stay hard, right?

I dont see carrying around an actual ac being plausible.. I could see a simple water pump, circulating water through pipes. I would imagine even a tiny ac would require lots of power. idk have to leave for work, cant watch the whole vid atm. You may be able to make a vacuum pump, powered by footsteps, to run ac. idk

You could run a car ac pump with a fairly small motor. I just dont see electricity being an option, even using solar panels, would just be too fragile.
not sure if you knew about these: in short, one side gets hot, one side gets cold. I think efficiency is determined by the temp difference, so you need to cool the hot side with heatsinks. You could run water pump through something like this. Not sure if it would be more efficient than an ac system. for uv, as far as I know, just basic fabric protects you. I would encourage you to check local leather shops, buying online is extremely expensive. leather beats most things, with protection and durability. It can also be taken apart and made into other things. functional leatherworking can be learned extremely quickly, its the perfect, pretty things, that take mastery. Now is a good time to learn to make, and fix shoes. I think I could make a pair of midcalf boots with built in heatsinks, that would be comfortable. Its important that any body heatsink is put in a place you dont bend, like you calf. This would actually be very handy, even in everyday life. Im interested in hearing what you have come up with, I will be more formal, so you can handle communicating with me.

if you gave me more info on type of environment suit was for, that may help

Are projectile weapons a concern? or stabbings? You might consider Zylon over some of your more squishy bits.

You need a cloud of nanobots decomposing matter around you to repair and power your suit.

Should also turn the worlds you stand on into nano-factories to replicate your consciousness and distribute more copies of you in the galaxy.

Shed your human skin, reveal your scales.

No, don't mean to offend you. Just a funny picture on my mind. Was thinking: take inspiration from nature, nature has outlived much bacteria and viruses. Naked is good. Next best thing: Men in tights. Nothing to get entangled in. Can be washed off. Where to put stuff? Kangaroos know. Hold it tight, elastic, seamlessly integrated. Inside bags to lift content from outer integrated layer. Put extra thought in eating / hydration routines, because eating is one of those occasions when you get infected from hands to mouth.

This is very phantastic. A more realistic approach is already developed by asian culture. Is it japan? Not sure. I forgot how they call it also. Its a fashion style with synthetic textiles for dirty cities, baggy comfort but tight legs for cycling, shoes for running, bags for smartphone/laptop. Some of that stuff is unpractical fashionable, but some is probably well thought out.

i feel this is cringe worthy, but what's a designer to design these days ... its overkill for corona, but as long as we have livestock, the next aerosol virus that can kill 50% of infected people is on the assembly line. not sure what kind of virus he is trying to protect his eyes from. intpforum probably.

no, artwork isn't mine. something from tumblr.

A fucking black hole
Lead lined hazmat suit with reflectors. Plus two hoses in front of the dick and the anus respectively connected to an cube-sized incinerator for obvious reasons. Then, another cube-sized air compressor connected to a filter and air purifier for a nice AC inside. The outlets should be on the soles of the feet than anywhere so that air is retained inside but can be let out by lifting your feet for a long amount of time.

Then glare-elimination polarized sunglasses for eye protection and mics attached on the surface of the clothing connected to heavy noise cancellation amplifiers. Also, google glasses should be on the inside of the goggles.
