Hi, I'm Kate. I'm an INTP... yup. I'm really into psychology and stuff, so I thought this might be a pretty cool place to stop by. So yeah... hi (:

Happy new year to you too! Oh gosh and so much stuff... I looove music, and play piano, guitar, bass guitar, stand-up bass, banjo, a bit of saxophone, and I dabble in mandolin. I'm a blackbelt in karate. Hmm I'm really into science, especially astrophysics and cosmology. I'm a bit obsessive over politics, mostly political theory. I love philosophy, and I'm starting to get more and more into psychology. I also love snowboarding. Hmmm that's about all I can think of right now.

You sound like one of us. I have done piano, clarinet and singing, I have a black belt in Shotokan and I am getting into MMA, I am into the sciences of evolutionary biology, geology, astronomy and physics, I think about politics independent of ideology, I snowboard about once a year, on average, but my main interest is the Christian religion and its origins (as a non-adherent).

Ohhh that sounds really cool.. and really strangely a lot like me haha. Hmmm I'm a bit less interested in Christianity, considering I've been in a Christian family all my life. I'm really starting to get interested in Buddhism though.

Welcome Kate. I love the Carolinas by the way. It's a beautiful part of the country.

Awh thanks, I hated living here up until about a year ago, but then again I do live in the backcountry land of rednecks. The only upside is living an hour from the beach, heh sadly I'm not a big fan of the beach, or water, or swimming. But the mountains aren't too far off either, which is pretty great.

Yeah, the mountains are great there. I used to do a bit of hiking back in the day. I agree that there are no shortage of rednecks, but carolina bbq makes up for all the shortfalls.

Oh gosh, have you ever been to Lexington? We go through there every time we go to the mountains. I'm not even a fan of bbq but every time we go through there I think I gain a pound or five.

Thanks Roran!

Oh, and lets see... I think Peppermint might be one of my favorites, I like chamomile sometimes but not too often, Sleepytime is really good, Earl Grey, and then I tried a new kind tonight but I can't remember what it was.

I am a tea drinker, and I drink mainly genmaicha green tea, which I buy online nowadays, but it can be found in specialty tea stores in urban areas. My housemate wants me to partake more often in his a large jar filled with peppermint tea leaves, but I insist on sticking with genmaicha.

Ah, I've never had hot green tea. I always hated the cold green tea in the bottles, so I'm just reluctant to try it I guess. And you really should try peppermint, it's awesome.
