Good to finally be here! Well, technically I've been stalking these forums for quite a while...I suspect many INTPs start off this way, and eventually decide to register once they "perceive" enough similarities to find joining the community a worthwhile endeavor. I'll try to keep my intro brief. XD

I've been interested in MBTI since I took the test three years ago in high school (I remember disliking my introverted preference, so I took it again to get E...). But only recently have I gotten more into it. I tell those close to me all about it, and how much it's helped me truly understand myself (and others of course, but who really cares about the external world anyway ;)). I actually checked out Isabel Briggs Myers' book from the library yesterday - figured my understanding of personality could benefit greatly by extending my research past the Internet sources I've been looking at.

I'm 20 and am almost a third-year at the university I attend. I plan to do a double-major with Economics and Psychology - once I get off my lazy, unmotivated INTP ass and actually declare, that is :p. I work part-time at the campus dining commons, and am in a social fraternity here. I hate going to class, and have to see a very good reason before motivating myself to do something. Leisurely hobbies of mine include reading, listening to/playing music (bass/guitar, played in a band in high school), Pokémon, and of course, like all of you, daydreamy contemplation and analyzing anything and everything. I love word play, puns especially. Oh, and I'm also a textbook "hopeless romantic". XD

Well, that's about it. Hope my ideas will prove fruitful to discussion as I explore the forums a bit more - talk to you all soon!

A good double major! At least you have a prospect of getting a job in Marketing, as opposed to so many, who finish college - only to seek underemployment in some other field than that they studied in college.

Speaking of which, an internship or a part-time job in the field of study can be invaluable in a competitive job market...

BTW - Welcome to the Forum
