Hello, fellow INTPs

[Coelacanth]

Hi, everyone! My nom-de-net is Coelacanth, and I'm very happy to have found this lovely little place where people like me seem to congregate -- and I don't have leave the comfy confines of the internet to talk with you all (the internet is truly God's gift to INTPs). So, yeah, a few little things about me:

* I'm an actuary, which is a great job for an INTP, apart from the deadlines and meetings and such. Although as you might have guessed from my name, I slightly regret not having become a biologist.

* I'm female, although not especially feminine.

* My partner is an INFP. We don't get out much, and our apartment is a mess, but we're happy!

* I'm quite good at math, but about as mechancially inclined as a salted slug.

* I love Terry Pratchett to an unwholesome extent, and have about three dozen heavily battered paperbacks authored by him.
