Not sure how to go about this...
Hello fellow brains! Over my existence so far I have discovered that I take great joy in thinking about abstractions and analyzing new ideas. Since no one else I know does, this has led me to feel disconnected with the world around me; and not the good kind of disconnection (yes there's a difference). I have discovered this site in hopes of both meeting other brains who share this quality in order to establish what seems to be a needed connection, and to gather data on the variations of the human mind.
A little bit about myself:
I have a large obsession with the mind, which stems from trying to understanding how I work, an incident with my parents, and my various "failed" attempts at understanding the world around me. It has grown far beyond its original parameters and has turned into something much more beautiful. I'm actually thinking about going into psychology or a branch of neuroscience.
I enjoy books with imagination, video games, certain foods, predictability and unpredictability, personality, and to a certain extent, enhancing the experience of my fellow brains so their existence is a more enjoyable one.
I am excited to see what potential this forum holds, as well as to meet types of people i have never come across before
