Happy Thanksgiving - only if someone else posts a thread of "Happy Hanuka" in the 5th of December. Then I will be thankful.

Thanksgiving is the worst holiday but I wish
you a good one nonetheless.

I don't have a clue what you guys are talking about, eh. Don't you know that Thanksgiving was a month and a half ago? Get with the times, silly Yankees.

TG for Americans.

Isn't Canada's TG in October?

The other day I was watching how they "make" Turkey from egg to plate. Doesn't really make me want turkey...

*BTW I was taught that we celebrate TG because the pilgrims didn't starve and freeze to death during the winter due to the "savages" who helped us, we then later eradicated. Now-a-days it's the day of rest (or football- can't remember if that's more Christmas or not) we get before Black Friday. 60% discounts on computers, don't know if I can miss that- but 4am...

Thanksgiving - an INTP's worst nightmare.

Please, kill me now. :slashnew:

Walking through an endless gathering of looming doters with twisted smiles and obtrusive comments, it's maddening.

A holiday devoted to eating. Mmm, sadly I don't enjoy food much..
I haven't eaten a full meal in almost two weeks.. :phear:

Well, I've lost over 9 lbs in the last three weeks because of schedules changes, a bad head cold, and the lack of appetite due to those things. Now I'm excited to eat pie. Lots of pie. Oh, and gravy. Lots of gravy.

Thankgiving is my favorite holiday. First off, I don't have an issue with food. I love food. Second, it's not Christmas which is the worst possible holiday in my book. Third, everybody leaves to go shopping the next day and leaves me all alone in the house with...that's right...the left overs. Life is good the day after Thanksgiving. :)

Now I have to make a happy Chanukah thread...

I only dislike food when I have to think about what to make and then have to make it.

Do like TG for the free food. I'm pretty use to how my family does the holidays too. It's not a big deal.

Yes, Zero, our thanksgiving is the second weekend of October, instead of the second last of November.

I agree with Cavalier, though, regarding Thanksgiving. It is one of the best times of the year. All that turkey always left over after the TG feast, and nobody seems to care if it gets eaten. I love having a lightening-fast metabolism that lets me eat whatever I want, in whatever quantities I want, without gaining so much as a pound... then again, since I'm now down to 150 lbs on my 6'7" frame... I hate my metabolism. I want to be a normal weight, damnit... Where's all the leftover's????? I need some turkey.

Damn... no turkey left in the house. That's what I get for living in Canada where TG is in October instead of November...

I had a good and happy thanksgiving. I'm living far enough away that I don't have to join in a massive festival, and I found a restaurant with all the pumpkin pie you can eat. I don't normally take the time to eat much (and am a toothpick as a result), but I really enjoy holidays with good food, and Thanksgiving certainly takes the cake for that.

Mmhhhhh.... Cake...

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
