I work as a hairstylist and enjoy what I do most of the time. What I don't understand though is how I got myself into a career that deals with the public in such an intimate way. I'm drained by the time I get home after dealing with clients and coworkers all day. Working in this industry for the past few years, I've learned to be more sociable. My best clients are the ones who have a great sense of humor, are laid-back, and let me use my creativity to their advantage. Unfortunatey, I've come across many of the opposite type. I also have to deal with coworkers that don't seem to understand me. My true personality, career, and the personality I'm "expected" to be do not mix well. At all. I don't think I can continue on in this career much longer, even though I love the creative side of my job. The problem is.. I can't come up with a new career plan. Any ideas?
