Hello all, quick and vague intro about me.

I'm a man of many professions. By day I'm a technical writer, but I like to misspell things because that's the way I think it should be pronounced. The irony is I never read a book end to end in my life. Cliff notes FTW! I tend to add an "a" between consonants and the letter "y" (as opposed to the number y?). I'm alreaday deciphering what I wrote. Moving on. If I'm not surfing the web during my day job, I'm running two small companies. I also do a lot of consulting in the creative sector (e.g. web/graphic design, marketing). I've been in every single technical and creative profession available. My love and passion lies more on the creative side though. This all seems like a lot, but in reality, I have a lot of free time for random unproductiveness. I live by the saying, work smarter, not harder. So basically, I’m lazy in a productive way, but not really.

Despite my sarcastic, dry and captain of the obvious nature, I'm a pretty happy go luckay, no worries person. Why is everyone so depressed on this forum? We are brilliant people. I’m a walking contradiction, a paradox within a triangular circle, as many are here. I have a metaphor for everything, except this. Well I do, but I just didn’t think of it yet. I hate working under pressure, but take satisfaction in doing something in a fraction of the time compared to normal mortals. However, I like performing under pressure. I never make plans, but things seem to work out better. That and you never have to commit to anything. I laugh at inappropriate situations and things. I'm probably going to hell a couple of times, although I don't believe in it. I was raised half catholic/half Buddhist. I'm agnostic. Scientology does entertain me, as I believe in Tom Cruise. He was awesome in Collateral.

:elephant: < ----- I has confused. I must know the meaning. When would be the appropriate time to put this in a post?

I was walking one day and all of a sudden I got tired. I saw an elephant, so I decided to get on him:elephant:. I'm going to start all my posts like that.

Tl;dr.

A redshirt is a trope. You are "technical writer"?

Maybe it is apropos when your argument comes from so far flung left-field as to be like Hannibal making a trans-Alps attack on Rome using Pachyderms?

As per redshirts...

I always read it, cover to cover. Before I do anything else, I think its important to learn how to operate my manual.
