Can we have a happy thread where we can collect some of our peaceful, pure moments in life?


I'm sitting in my living room, it's summer, I have my feet up and I'm listening to Lana Del Rey's new album while eating honeydew melon. My babe just sent a bunch of heartwarming things to me and I'm still smiling. I like the color of my nail polish, and it goes with the patterned pajama pants I'm wearing. Just nice to look at.
I like our house. This room has a nice balance if colors, dark table, light green walls that match the honeydew, the summer sun coming in through the window and glass door. My cat is sleeping on the deck, she's so sweet, an old black and white angel soaking up the sun.
It's just really pretty today. I'm happy.

You reminded me I need to do meditation today. I don't feel too good about myself, that means my emotions are emerging. When that happens I need to channel them. It's like spring cleaning, everything feels better when the work is done. Emotions are so hard to work with when they are not intense like this. But now they are I can think about my real problems. So meditation is nice, I am distracted all the time from dealing with those pesky FEELS.

Earlier today I was listening to jazz and watching the rain outside. That was pretty cool.

After driving all day I arrived to a place far from the center where it is raining and temperature is 14° and there are forests everywhere. Just chill.
