Gittinger and PAS

Is anyone familiar with John Gittinger and his Personality Assessment System?

And by that, I mean does anyone have information or experience beyond what you find on wikipedia or the scant few online articles that Gittinger wrote?

Nope.

I looked it up, and it looks like something I learned about when taking my course on personality. However, I don't recall spending much time on it.

Thanks Yellow. I had not seen that particular article before, but it didn't really tell me anything that I didn't already know.

Gittinger is described as an "evil genius" but as far as I can tell, he was a decent fellow that didn't do anything in the See Eye Aye that actually led to people being hurt. His involvement with Monarch and MK Ultra didn't involve "reprogramming" anyone--there are a rougue's gallery of other quacks that did that. Gittinger was mostly concerned with doing profiles for intelligence analysis. He profiled anyone and everyone. He advised presidents on how to deal with other world leaders--friends and enemies alike.

Most of his work is still classified because--as far as I know--the Company still uses it.

What I am curious about is how PAS stacks up against MBTI. My inclination is to suspect that PAS is probably highly advanced and accurate since it is still classified and what the general public knows about it pre-dates the 60's.

But because MBTI is "open sourced," I find it more conceivable that it is superior because so many different contributors have added to our understanding of it.
