I've had this bookmarked for over a year now and thought you all might like it, it is not a dirty story, the title explains itself in time.

http://www.skyhunter.com/marcs/GentleSeduction.html

It is a short read maybe 15 minutes, but i found it enjoyable the first time i read it, and find it enjoyable still.

Enjoy, my fellow Jacks.

Shatokan, If I may ask, is the typo on the title intentional or not?

I'm also in the 'I thought it was Genital Seduction' bandwagon. Clarifications would be nice.:p

It's interesting to wonder if one could be happy with such increased complexity in life. The way I see it, inconsistency and social disconnection could easily drive one insane.

As for modifying our minds- although theoretically we could advance mental processing, it would take nothing short of a total reconstruction of the brain. The story paints a picture of humans being unique when it's all just a flow of chemicals that would quickly become fucked up if we knew how to modify it without detrimental effects. Any drive for us to imitate our ancestors would be silly if we had a choice of eternal happiness.

Yea I had a similar line of thought after finishing the story. If you have eternal happiness, who cares what the point of anything is?

This one is definitely going to stay with me.
