This is great. Just check it out
Gives you a choice between 8 different pills, each of which will give you a power.

(I chose orange- being able to instantly master any skill or field of expertise that a human can do).

But it doesn't end there
The writer continues to riff with the ideas and build it into a short story that is a fun and interesting read. Totally up the INTP alley.

Grey is very me however as soon as I read the Black pill's power I realized it was by far the most powerful, if I know EXACTLY all possible outcomes of my actions for the next month I could build machines that (with my input) could exploit quantum mechanics to make near-infinitely unlikely things occur.

The person who takes the Black pill is the one that, through sheer improbability, rips a hole in the fabric of space/time to go back and create the pills in the first place.

The black pill doesn't work. If you look 1 month into the future, you no longer live in the world that is 1 month prior to what you see – you live in a world where you looked 1 month ahead, in which you have no clue what will happen 1 month ahead.

You can probably tell from this that I'm great at parties.

I'd invite you, and you're right by the way.

How would you react to Orange? (assuming you've taken no pills)
Here's someone that's more competent than you at everything by default, they are quite simply better than you, how do you deal with that knowledge?

In a world where superheroes exist how psychologically healthy would the normal people be? I think these superheroes (or villains) would be worshiped, I don't like this theory but it's worth examining. I can imagine bodybuilders having a reverence for Red despite his appearance, or rather revering the philosophy Red represents. The notion being something like "if Red can solve all of his problems with sheer strength maybe I can solve some of my problems with strength too", they don't worship Red himself but rather the strength that he has become a symbol of.

On the other hand Black would be seen as a monster, or maybe worshiped by the nihilistic/fatalistic as the embodiment of fate.

I guess orange would be handy, but not really turn you into a superhero. Like, we can say Einstein mastered physics, yet it took him many years of hard work to come up with General Relativity. You can master stuff, but you still gotta have the ingenuity to come up with cool shit.

But yea, I would go for orange – I couldn't care less about being able to lift cars or turning into an animal. After all, wtf would I achieve by turning into an animal, apart from maybe becoming a cat and get free food from people.

Pink would be kind of cool, if you could control it.

I wouldn't know, I can't see the future.

That pill is currently such a dud and needs a redesign -- a pill for love that only allows you to wield it for non-love reasons since you can never touch after initial contact. Basically, it's just a free Touch-spell Dominate.

Well, I still haven't read the whole story; but it is pretty amusing.

Personally, reading someone's mind is the ultimate invasion of privacy and I don't even want to know what goes on in some people's heads. Besides, I'm so intuitive I know what everyone's thinking anyway. I can already master any human skill imaginable, so no need for that one. I already possess super strength and any woman who touches me instantly falls in love, and again thanks to my incredible intuition I am able to envision all possible scenarios in advance so no need for any of those. Shape shifting is of no interest because I'm already at the top of the food chain so no need to go any lower.

So either blue or grey. I might fall on the side of grey as teleportation would make me incredibly lazy and very fat very quickly.

I thought Blue was cool (if I want to be an observer), and Orange was cool (if I want to be a master). Black has problems like Serac says, and Yellow just makes me a voyeur.

I'll admit, I'd love to be Power Girl for awhile and just smack the crap out of stuff, though. (We just finished our Aberrant campaign and I decided to play a Swedish war hero blaster who can transform into cold fire. She was so badass.)

Yeah it would suck if you actually liked someone.

Instantly brought to mind the show Pushing Daisies!! It's by the same guy who made Hannibal and it's near the top of my stories-to-check-out-list.

Ned possesses a rare gift -- the ability to restore life to the dead -- with a touch. He puts his power to good use, helping an investigator solve murders by reviving the victim and asking the deceased to name the killer. Complications arise when Ned brings his childhood sweetheart, Chuck, back from the dead with the intention of keeping her alive. There's just one snag: If Ned ever touches Chuck again, she goes back to being dead, for keeps.

^^^
Eh I mean it's the basic description of the show so it's not really a spoiler.
But unngh what a dilemma.

(They kiss through plastic wrap though and it is so cute.)
