Anybody here watch the show? Anxious for season 3 to start in an hour and curious who else is waiting for it, or if anyone has any opinion on it: good or bad. ^.^

I find it a tad disconcerting at times with a wobbling focus or something, but I think that's one of the intended effects. I watch it rarely, no cable or satellite television service here and our erratic HULU access is apparently affected by chipmunks dancing on phone lines or something.

I keep waiting for Agent Mulder to show up.....

I'll start with the obvious opinion:

I was wondering the entire time, "if you're aware that they're trying to rewrite your memory, play along." Theres two ways it can play out if you keep fighting. Either the medication never stops, or the medication works and you lose yourself.

The question now, though, is did it work? Or is she playing along? And if it worked, how is she going to get her original memory back? This could all play out to be another strength for Olivia, though. If she can keep her original memories (and muscle memories and skills) while tapping into Alternative Olivia's memories (and again, muscle memories and skills) she could end up being better prepared for whatever is thrown at her. As seen, her aim has already improved: and she still had the memory of her original self at that point in time.

Henry is by far the best thing that has happened to Fringe. The worst thing that has happened to Fringe? Henry driving off at the end of the episode.

I'm not denying the possibility that she's playing along, but remember when she confused Peter's name? Why would she do that?

That was on accident, I think. I don't think she would have on purpose: no reason to. But at that point, she either became Altivia too much to stop, or realized what they were doing was working, and she would have to pretend to keep her memories. They'll probably play the "she lost her memories" angle, though, and bring Henry back to help her.

I think it's very good, I really got into it, hit a lot of spots what with all the science and shizzle.
I think I read there wasn't going to be a continuation of the series, I'm pleased to see that information inverted.

But I must say, this series has really improved over time, from a X-Files monster-of-the-week imitation to a nice and quite original sci-fi series with an interesting plot... and Walter is always awesome.

The logic behind alternate universes peopled by what amount to doppelgangers is not logical at all. Already we have one episode where the husband of a childless couple dies and his widow can, through a weak spot in the fabric, detect the widower survivor of his own wife's death on the other side. And they weren't childless. Parallel? More like a trapezoid or something. I sit and try to watch it, because my wife enjoys it, but willing suspension of disbelief just doesn't seem to kick in when it's something as basic as "Of course it couldn't be the same for more than a couple of seconds if different things happen to people there."

Yeah this bugs me too, so I can't really get into Fringe like you can when it's a really good tv series. But it's still better than most of the crap on tv nowadays, so I watch it for fun. For a sci-fi show Fringe seems to have an awful lot of plot elements based on "destiny" and similar concepts that shouldn't really have anything to do with science, even fringe science. But oh well...

Some of the inconsistencies and the lack of common logic bug me, but on the whole I enjoy it. Way better than most series.

I enjoy the show (it requires quite a bit of suspension of disbelief, however).

There is some good science reviews for it here (done by a doctor who also reviews House episodes) with it's primary focus being on the validity of the science and medicine behind it.
