Favourite TV shows? Hated Tv shows?

Are there specific types of shows that INTPs tend to gravitate towards, or what?

I should note that this is my first post, as well...

Back on topic: personally I avoid reality TV like the plague. Things like the Kardashians and anything celebrity related drives me insane, especially.

Shows I love:
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Bored to Death
(dark comedies)
Criminal Minds
Breaking Bad
(...these two just really entertain me; they make me think)
Mantracker
(I enjoy laughing at other's stupidity...and enjoy grudgingly admitting when they do well, for some unfathomable reason)
Pretty well any documentary
(educational TV is the best TV, contrary to popular belief!)

We have a search feature although adding hated seems to make it different from any other in the tv, movie subsection. So maybe this thread can focus on that.

I hate those singing and dancing shows.

Hm. It's an awfully old thread, and I just didn't see the harm in starting a more recent one. But that aside, it could focus on hated TV shows, agreed!

I approve of your hatred of those shows. Although, the auditions for singing shows can be funny, you have to admit.

I go for mildly cheesy, perhaps absurdist, tragicomic shows. Dead Like Me (discontinued), In Treatment (delayed), and Louie come to mind. And random shows like MythBusters.

What I hate? Anything created solely to garner views - basically any stupid bullshit on CBS after seven. The good-natured humor frequently displayed on game shows unhinges me as well.

Oh fuck. I'm torn on reality television. Intervention and The First 48 are pretty dope but Big Brother and Real World are insanely lobotomized.

You have fantastic taste. Comedy-wise, at least...I don't recognize the other shows apart from Breaking Bad. Just judging by what you like you should honestly look into It's Always Sunny In Philedelphia!
