This is a tough one, I'm sure. I'm voting for the severely underrated 'Amnesiac'. I've listened through it twice just today, and I'm in love. Second place is tied between OK Computer, Kid A, In Rainbows, and The Bends... yeah, I'm not very good at rating Radiohead albums. They're all so damn good! Oh and Hail to the Thief ain't bad either. :worship:

Edit: I'm sure my opinion of their best album will inevitably fluctuate.

i pretty much only like two songs by radiohead -- creep and karma police -- but they're two of my favorite songs of all time (and granted, i haven't heard a whole lot more, but from what i have heard it seems to all sound pretty similar).

Talk Show Host is my favorite track, but that's on the Romeo + Juliet soundtrack.

I'll have to go with OK Computer, as well. The Bends, Hail to the Thief, and In Rainbows all tie for a very close second. Kid A and Amnesiac never really stuck with me, for whatever reason.

They play with an orchestra and explore the nature of morality.
It's not happy music, but it's not emotional gratification either, it's honest.

Why are you so surprised?

Radiohead is the closest thing to emo I will ever consider listening to. I'm not too familiar with their songs though. I know of Paranoid Android, Karma Police and Creep. Paranoid Android is a fun song to sing.

It's still kinda hard for me to take Aussie hip hop seriously. I'm mostly just surprised though that someone outside of Australia has heard of them.

In order of best to worst:

1. In Rainbows (Sometimes I feel like this is perfect music)
2. Kid A
3. Amnesiac
4. OK Computer
5. Hail to the Thief (May deserve a higher rank, but I need to listen to it more)
6. The Bends (I only care for Street Spirit and Nice Dream)
7. Pablo Honey (Pure crap... Well to be honest, I like Creep)

At the moment, Amnesiac. Followed by OK Computer and In Rainbows which I would rate (roughly) equally highly, and then The Bends and Hail to the Thief. Apart from National Anthem and Idioteque, I don't love Kid A as much as the others. Pablo Honey is my least favourite, though I have listened to it the least by a long shot.

flow, I would be interested to see how you rank the albums now, almost two years later.

You're merely irked that my dedication to Radiohead surpasses that of your own.
