Hello...don't eat me please.

I've been lurking around here for long enough and I've decided that it's high time I announced myself. I'm one of those rare creatures you hear about called an INTP female. At least rare in that I've never run across an other one in the *whispers* real world.

I took the MBTI years and years ago. When I got my result the way in which I viewed myself...I guess "congealed" is the best way to describe it. All the little things I thought made me quirky where sitting there on a white sheet of paper. Anyway, I shall attempt to provide comments that are at least interesting if a bit pedantic. I apologize ahead of time.

Oh, and I LOVE rats. Intelligent, lots of personality, very companionable. Love the fuzzy little weirdos!

Hey look! It's me, red hair and all!-->

hmmm, you should see Inglorious Basterds, they make a point that NO ONE likes rats (you'd be most opposed I'm sure). Welcome to the forum! You don't happen to live in Portland do you?

Hi

Rats are adorable. I have known girls who kept pet rats, and I have met, and liked, other rats.

I place the values of life as Cat slightly over Rat slightly over Human.

Yo

Rats are brilliant, though not on the list of furry rodenty things I'd keep as a pet, I prefer mousey type things

I do want to see Inglorious Bastards it seems like a wonderfully terrible movie! I live in Corvallis, been studying at university there until recently. I'll be moving to Portland someday...once I find a job that is.

I prefer non-furball pets myself. I still doubt the existence of INTP females but I'm sure you would argue otherwise. I'm in no mood to argue so I will just say welcome. I'm kinda new here but I feel at home in this place.

Hey now, they're out there. I actually met one IRL just this summer. She's a few years younger than me, but still... the INTP is strong with her.

Greetings, Cav. Is it alright if I call you that? Rats are cool creatures, though I don't think I'd have one as a pet. (Their tails remind me of worms no matter what).

Welcome btw.

rofl! They have sharp little claws. That would sting. Although I did catch my father feeding tea to my rat once like that when he was rat-sitting. It took me weeks to stop the little guy from trying to get into my mouth after that. Needless to say Bob wasn't exactly safe with strangers for a while. There was generally screaming involved.

Thanks for the welcome.

No, you're alone. It's just that we're the same person...Perhaps you and I are doppelgangers? I call dibs on being the evil one!

You don't need to believe I exist. I don't even know if I exist.

How kimo sabe! Indeed. Mice are fun but stinky...at least I've noticed they are stinkier than rats.

Indeed, there are a lot of things I tend to hold in higher esteem than most people.

Hello. Cav is good. Rose is fine.

Oh no. My talents do not lie in drawing. It's by Paul Kidby and it's a Death of Rats by Terry Pratchett. I recommend his books to anybody who wants a fun yet slightly more intelligent sci-fi/fantasy read.

Welcome Cav,
Do you happen to be a lefty? Left-handed females are perhaps even scarcer than INTPian females.... I always wondered if there was a correlation. Left-handedness ranks as one of the predominant variables among gifted and talented women...

Welcome to the forum Cavallier (or should I say fellow Sista :p). Your avatar looks like a praying mantis at first glance. :phear:

What if your semi-ambidextrous? Some things I favor my right, some my left, and sometimes neither is hand dominant.

Not a lefty. Nor am I talented. Merely observant :D

Although, I did learn in an archery class that I'm left dominant. I could only shoot the bow with my left hand. Perhaps if we did not live in a right handed kind of world my potential left handed...ness...could have been developed. As it is, I am only a righty with small things like writing and lefty with big things like sports.

Chances are you're a sinestral (i.e. lefty). left-handedness is just an indication that the right side of your brain is the dominant hemisphere. Chances are that at a young age you were encouraged to use your right hand when your natural inclination would be to use your left...

In males that occurs in only one in 22 cases, predominantly connected with some type of brain damage. In some cultures lefties are killed as soon as the hand-preference is noticed, perhaps because of that.....(?) (id est sinestral=sinester)

In females the condition is rarer and connected with talent and giftedness, a disproportionate number of lefty girls score in the top range on all the standardized tests.

EDIT: Cav - sounds like you also a sinestral (right-brain dominated)
