Oh, german? We're pretty close then =)
It will be a cold day on the surface of the sun (like below the freezing point of water cold) before I ever do anything facebook related. But I'll give you a name:
I.P. Freehly
Am I the only one that will approve or deny a friend request based entirely on the person's book preferences?

Oh, what the hell,

If anyone from here does decide to friend me, tell me you are from here or I'll deny your request out of general paranoia.
Oh, and angel food cake is the best.![]()
No, I've been known to do that. A persons book preference can say a lot about them.
I agree. A large, impersonal place with a fixed (ugly) interface. I saw it (and tried it) before using a fake name a few years ago, and it's added to my dismay of the sleek, new, steel trap boxes that people have for choices now - you can't even theme facebook, and the extent of it makes it such that there's really no choice between it and smaller, more tailored user network sites. It's gotten to the point where I can't maintain a relevant part in some peoples' lives because they will use facebook exclusively to communicate, forcing a kind of bandwagon opt-in from people who wouldn't be interested in such a service for any reason. And what happened to the large scale DIY days of the likes of Geocities? No one wants to play around with the back end anymore, and if they do, they have to become career or side developers!

PS: Don't INTPs have our own forums here? Why are we using the ESFP site?
The books that I have on mine are: Calvin & Hobbes, The Alchemist, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
ESFP site? Are you serious? You're quite ignorant aren't you?
Why all the hate? Because it's mainstream, or what's your deal?
I like Facebook, I met people there, that I haven't talked to in over 10 years. Met people from around the world, learned about their culture etc.
Right. Not ignorant. Just of an opinion that is not twin to yours. Will be sure to return the favor sometime.
"Issues" were already explained. Rigid interface, mass userbase of people (like older web build stuff) only this time, no tinkering allowed (see above). Mass marketing forces opt-in, leading to lack of options and competition w/ similar, niche target sites.
ESFP thing was a joke from INTPC. Er ... never mind.![]()
I'm pretty sure I only have 1-3 INTP friends on FB, it's rather depressing.
