I have created this seemingly useless thread with a hidden agenda: social experimentation. What shall this experiment consist of? That, my friend, is up to you.

It is a simple concept: Let people know that they are part of a social experiment, and let them know that the experiment's results are completely based on their own reaction to an experiment that is determined by them and not a central figure.

Conclusions thus far: With no definite experimental parameters, the subjects put doubt in the validity of the test. Some see only the first two steps of an infinite loop.
The subjects, without stimulation from a central tester, ridicule the test itself.
Some have resigned due to confusion.
The results are inconclusive, but I think I'm onto something.

Experiment 211013 Defined
A pile of combustible wood is set up at a clearing in the forest. A circle surrounding the pile is outlined. Members of the social entourage are each seated around the pile forming a rough circle. I will be sitting outside the circle with pad and pencil. The assumption is those who have posted here are volunteering for this social experiment: Rook, Hawkeye, Brontosaurie, Cognisant, The Void. That is only five. We need more. We will have to wait for four or five more volunteers. Moderators are free to participate as long as they abstain from banning anyone. Those would be participants located in Siberia are safe.
For this experiment to work we will need nine or ten. Socializers may operate in teams if they so wish. That is part of the experiment. When a quorum of participants is reached we will be ready.
Each volunteer is now chained to his/her neighbor forming a complete circle. The fire is lit. As it heats up to an adequate bonfire my notes will record the various actions of the participants. Wood is added to the fire as needed until one survivor remains. This will terminate the experiment. He/she will describe their experience*** to be compared against my notes*. Results will be published on this thread ... provided the thread remains open and I am not banned**.
*Speaking of notes, note this is NOT a double blind or even a single blind experiment.
**Could happen if at least one moderator survives.

He proposed a social experiment, and an interesting one. To uphold scientific validity, I shall not interfere, though if this goes out of hand, this experiment may become inception-like.
