Does anyone get the feeling that INTPs are failed ENTPs?

I'm not saying this is necessarily bad, but do you feel like ENTPs were the original attempt of existence for an INTP and some genetic or otherwise flaw caused us to be INTPs? Like other 'defects', it can be useful or negative, but I generally feel like ENTPs have some inherent wisdom over INTPs which we must earn instead. On the other hand, it could just be that ENTPs are good at making people think they know what they're talking about. I dunno.

ENTPs usually have more trouble getting their stuff organised and efficient as they get stuck in their Ne more often than INTPs do.

Look at Einstein and compare him to Da Vinci, Einstein was more linear in his interests, Leonardo was a broad genius but I don't find anything substantial in his works.

I'm not claiming it's true or a theory, I'm asking what people would think of that proposition. It has just been my experience that ENTPs seem to be more informed than INTPs wait for it- in general.

I think I already said that, a long time ago. That intps are like some prototype people that should be going out like after the cambrian explosion. But not even that, schizoids and schizotypals are probably better examples for that, as well as any other remotely off kilter individual. The universe favors Se, and some off kilter people are less off kilter than others and more favorable to Ses. Things change. It was a good idea at first but similar stuff can be reached with other processes and different emphases although it might take a longer time. Because then, on paper, it's about who is more people oriented.

Although it's less about that now. Now, it's more about casual and mildly intelligent and the more kinda gay you can appear without actually being gay, the better. So it's about being normal but less normal than most, but more normal than others. It's more interesting to see the difference between enfps & infps or istjs/estjs; etc

They tend to think they are more informed but generally only know a little about many different things and a lot about very few things.

Sounds like you haven't learned to use your inner ENTP (Ne). When you do, you'll look for objective, unusual patterns about reality.

You'll then notice a very objective, but extremely unusual pattern about yourself, and about other INTPs, that people seem to always find fault with us, but keep repeatedly coming back for more, unlike everyone else that they find major faults with, who they simply never see again. We're like crack for humanity. They continually slag us off, but won't give us up. Humans want what we give them that much.

On the other hand, it could just be that ENTPs are good at making people think they know what they're talking about. I dunno.

ENTPs do consider themselves masters of social chess.

To the OP:
ENTP and INTP are nearly same types, basic difference is that ENTP spends more energy, while INTP is more cautious. In different situations various features are better.
