Do you prefer women to have makeup on, fancy clothes, earrings, (fake) long nails, painted nails, fancy haircut, a handbag, etc.... (fake tits? Tattoos?)

...Or do you prefer women to have as little makeup as possible, casual clothes, simple or no earrings, no fake nails, no nail paint, simple haircut, no handbag or at least a simple one, etc.?

Or perhaps you have specific preferences?

P.S. Don't say that you don't care, instead think about what appeals more to you.

Here's my views:

I prefer women as natural as possible. I don't mind earrings though, but not too many, not too odd, and not in too strange places. I don't like huge earrings too, like those oval things some women have hanging almost to their chin.

I prefer girls rather natural over 'painted upon', but you're going for both extremes. I like earrings, for example (including small ear piercings). I don't mind belly button piercings, I hate all other piercings. Minor make-up is fine, and if done right can be very pretty, but overkill is always to be avoided and easily obtained.

I can't help it, but there's this appeal about a girl which you wake up next to, where she'll tell you she looks awful, messy and without any make-up... I just cannot agree. I genuinly think it has something... I don't know, I can't explain.

If we're going out to a formal function or something it would be nice to be with a girl that knows how to dress up elegantly and wears only a little bit of make up, a token amount to show that she's made the effort to look good for the occasion, but beyond that and in every other context the less make up the better.

Hm, I don't think I'd even want her to be like that on formal occasions. Certainly wouldn't say anything though, unless she'd make me wait half an hour until she's done when we should should've been gone 30 minutes ago. But I doubt I'd go out with a woman like that in the first place.

The only thing that sends frissons of irritation and repulsion through me, adorning either sex, is a little rhinestone or diamond piercing through the side of the nose. It looks so much like an inflamed pimple I quickly avert my eyes lest I embarrass the pimplee by staring. Then I realize it's jewelry and then I find myself asking "Why? Why add a feature that looks like something most people find offputting?" Other than that I find anything people do with their appearance to be interesting. I have learned that sometimes even the people who do not look like they are wearing makeup actually have it on, and, also, that sometimes the purpose of some makeup is not to create beauty or the particular faddish look, per se, but to cover up a minor skin discoloration or feature imbalance that would otherwise be distracting. (Some people are just trying for "neutral," I guess is what I mean.) Still fuzzy today, sorry. No makeup for that.

Your post reminded me of something... Some people wear some sticky things that resemble a mold. I find that disgusting and I don't know who would find that attractive.

I do too, but not for beauty reasons. While I prefer more subtle / or just plain less make-up, I know serveral people who spend alot of time on how they look, but it does have them look elegant and well-dressed. They're pretty, and I'll never deny that. Doesn't mean they're suddenly fun or smart or intelligent, but atleast they're pretty, which seems to be their goal. They ain't the typical puppets tho, I guess you'd say hipster, and perhaps in a way they are, but they just look for clothes /nobody else has/ that still look good, and will roam a thousand shops to find that missing piece for their 'set' of clothes. They're not my favorites, but they're nice all the same, and yeah. They are pretty, but they know not to overdo the makeup.

I don't mind a little, but I know plenty of girls who wear so much makeup (fake tan, fake nails, stick on eyelashes, lipsticks, etc) that they look horrible! And then you see them after just getting out of bed and you're like 'Why the hell does she bother?'
I think the prettiest girl I know wears none at all.

Overall I think the less makeup the better, although I do have a lot of pity for girls who feel they need to pile it on with a trowel due to peer pressure, the media and their perceived preferences of males.

Oh, and guys in makeup makes me want to headbutt a brick wall.

I feel as though looks are for self confidence and reassurance rather than anything really, it is for me anyway. Any type of girl would be alright in my view, but i find girls who look different from the rest to be interesting.
