Social Rebel
Basically exactly what the prompt says. How much of a stereotypical INTP are you? If you don't really act like one at all when you give off first impressions, what MBTI type do you think you come off as?
My neutral face is a deathstare, I can crack jokes about most anything, I'm most often quiet and behave formally in most classes, I often find myself playing devil's advocate or challenging others' POV in conversation, I do not go to parties or socialize or flirt, social cues (especially flirting cues) often go right over my head, I often slouch, and my most common line of sight is around 15-20 degrees below the horizon.
I'd say I act overall like a pretty stereotypical INTP, though a first impression might be ISTJ or INTJ. I know nobody who knew about MBTI before knowing me, so maybe I'm off the mark.

As far as typical behavior, I think I probably come off as generally aloof, unintelligent, disengaged, cold, uninterested, and distanced to people who don't know me. And focused, cogent, engaged, warm(ish), interested, and intense to those who know me well, which is very few.
stereotypical is spelled incorrectly in the thread title.
Whoops, sorry; I'm a terrible speller with bad eye sight and no glasses. I was bound to do something like that somewhere along the line...
I used to do this a lot more, until I finally decided I'd rather people get to know me for who I really am. You'd be surprised by how fast people get used to the actual you. Of course it also helps that I have a wife who explains to them that I don't actually hate themI tend to mirror people. They get what they give. Which is pretty typical of an INTP - the classic chameleon social armour. If I'm in a bad mood, however, or can't be bothered to keep up pretenses, I probably just come off as very aloof and cold.
Very much like the online descriptions.
Not much like the posters here. For starters, I'm not an atheist.
I think about 30% of INTJs on INTJf, are religious. Seems way lower percentage here.I thought that was more of an INTJ stereotype?
I become very talkative around my best friends. I just can't control myself and will talk about thoughts and ideas i had since i last met them. I'm not sure if they listen because they are interested or don't want to be rude, but they are both ENT.
Is this normal for INTPs?
