I'm not too optimistic about progress so if you ask me about 2030, I compare now to 2009/2010.
So, extrapolating, where I live, smart homes that track the amount of electricity you use with different devices would probably be common place, we'd also probably be paying by scanning QR codes instead of using cards or cash, we'd probably be withdrawing money from ATMs the same way too.
Similarly, the devices you use day to day will continue sending data to the cloud and be able to make better and better predictions about you. Likely, you could also leave your phone/computer to reply messages, take calls, and reply emails on your behalf. Mesh networking would probably be more common place. You could even have everyday devices like lamps and fans act as routers.
With regards to AR/VR, I'm even less optimistic. There's a hardware lag that needs to be settled first. Oh yeah, with regards to hardware, your computers will probably come with TPUs (tensor processing units) to accelerate tasks involving machine learning (of course, training is done on the cloud. All your device does is load the model and use it for prediction)
Also, personally, I hope some kind of peer-to-peer protocol that sits on top of http takes off. See IPFS and filecoin and the like.
Also, maybe we'll start using post-quantum cryptography given that quantum computers in 10 years time might be powerful enough to break the keys derived from elliptic curve cryptography today.
