So I have noticed, quite a long while ago, that I run simulations in my mind a lot. I mean a whole lot, at least 50% of my waking time. A lot of the time I daydream simulations when I have time (not doing anything). I used to do this a lot in class, when I was in high school, but I've intentionally stopped daydreaming in classes nowadays. This causes me to be detached to things around me, often times I become oblivious of other; and also my own sense of the situations I'm in becomes dilated. E.g. I might believe that situations have higher tension than they really do.

Basically, this is further proof toward your INTP being lest some other type also displays these qualities but in a slightly different manner including but not limited to a slightly different frequency of occurrence.
Mm... Try not to daydream so much? Good to see you're not doing it in class so much nowadays... You don't have to stop or anything. It can be remotely entertaining for whatever purpose, I'd just say keep in mind how much time you are spending doing this...
It shouldn't be too much to worry about, unless you're in a job interview or something. I guess don't get too attached to being known as a daydreamer? Don't walk down the street and expect someone to say, "hey! there's that daydreamer guy. he's pretty cool."
you should still get caught daydreaming every once in a while by someone, if that's a "natural" aspect of your personage...

Same here.

I have very detailed expectations of the future.

I imagine how it'd be and try to make my decision based on that but it never seems to hit the mark with social outings. Sometimes I imagine them to be fantastic and they wind up poor and sometimes I imagine they'd be a drab but they turn out amazing good fun. I always forget the hangover, which is a bit stupid of me.

I try to imagine sensory activities too a lot and get a kick from that. I'd imagine driving at high speed, playing basketball with supernatural ability, and even just plain old explosions.

Usually I spend my time daydreaming in a convoluted and pointless thought and blurt out something that I think is an epiphany only to have it downplayed by friends and family. Then I do realize how pointless it was.

Oh, and girls. Girls. Always a big fucking issue with infatuations. Wish I could just turn that daydreaming shit off forever.

I used to spend all sorts of time I was supposed to be doing something in class daydreaming instead, mainly about pointless bullshit to keep myself entertained. Now I only tend to daydream whenever I'm idle, or driving or otherwise not partaking in anything cerebral. It's rarely useful though; mainly just a time killer. I always expect that one of the possibilities I dream up will happen in the future but it never does. Occasionally I'll remember some long-lost train of thought of relative importance and dwell on that for a bit; elsewise daydreaming is a fairly unproductive activity for me.
