INFJs and ENFPs more than INFP, though NTs would probably validate the INTP's dominant function far more naturally.

Okay but those are first function Intuitives, why would they settle for a second function intuitive like an INTP when they would be more stimuated by a INTJ or a ENTP? Why don't the first function extroverted intuitives are flightly in my experience and like to jump around and not stay on one topic for too long. INFJs I don't know, they can like anyone in my experience. They are a hard nut to crack.

I'm not sure I'm convinced that ENFJ's and INTPs wouldn't go well together in general. I think a lot of you INTPs might think that all you want to do is think all day and never do anything else, which not very many people at all are in to doing. The four INTP frineds I have like discussing ideas as a means to share what the find interesting and not because they need others to understand to validate a relationship.

I disagree and will pose that Ti does in fact compliment Fe. INTP like to think about not just what's in their heads but what is in others as well. ENFJs come up with very interesting hypotheses that give INTPs something interesting to explore or debate. INTPs, i believe, think even themselves into a corner until they've come to a conclusion and eventualy could think are done thinking about all there own stuff. ENFJ's challenge ideas as well as come up with endless hypotheses that give INTPs new thinks to think about. INTPs like to think first are formost especially about new ideas. If one ENFJ doesn't talk about cool stuff, maybe they're not smart enough or you're both not into the same topics.

Indeed, INFJs would be most validated/stimulated by other N-dominants. I thought you had asked, "Out of INFJ, INFP and ENFP which would have most luck with INTPs?" to which I answered INFJ and ENFP (but I don't know, to be honest, I have never seen an INTP and INFP interact in real life to make an accurate call on that.)

I respect that, and it is essentially heuristics, in the end. In my experience (and incidentally, among the common consensus around these parts) INTPs are instantly drained by ENFJs and their dominant Fe. They might share interests, and might discuss those at length as well as other complex ideas, but the conversation will always either edge towards Fe or Ti, and given the strength of the argument at hand, one person will feel suppressed by the other.

I have once and conversation dies quickly. INFP & INTP is to ENFJ & ENTJ as far as I've seen. My conversations with ENTJs have the same sparse dynamic; we battle for the leadership. The INFPs and INTPs too find themselves taking turns to talk about what their topic.

Sure, that can happen. Sadly, I believe most ENFJs are not subjugated to the INTP "mind/dynamic" (for lack of a better word) enough and instead of growing up in a world of rationality, where their Fe is could trained to be a means of reflecting what buzzes around in their intuition. If no rationals are around them growing up, they may have a higher risk becoming dogmatic, overly altruistic, neurotic, and having a undiscovered potential.

If an ENFJs character allows their feelings to be more often used like SP temperament, self expression, and not as a tool their inuition is neglected and becomes wild and irrational.

How INTPs relate to other types. I found this in my notes. It's a 16x16 matrix with one-word descriptions of relationships. I no longer recall where I got this from so I will type out the line for INTPs. There are 256 altogether but notice INTP-INTP is missing.

INTP-INTP Identity

I'd disagree.. I definately get alot of people on this forum, or have the feeling that they get me. I feel our mindset is similar.

Though, it's still hard for me to relate to many of the people on this forum. There's alot of emo tendencies which I absolutely do not see eye to eye with. Which I've also spoken out about in a couple of threads of mine. Which were then recieved with "you're a jerk" amongst other more 'full' replies, which essentially told me the same thing. But of course also constructive replies from people like ApplePi, up there. Hehe.
