Is it safe to download and try it?

The black market isn't a literal market you can browse, its a network of information brokers and buyers/sellers hidden behind intermediaries, its strictly invite only and you need to be a real piece of shit to get invited.

Ha Ha, thank you~ I had no idea. I just know some of my data got exposed because a dental office had unscrupulous software and leaked a bunch of stuff, so I wanted to look around. All it did was take me to duck duck go search engine. Thank you, I am laughing out loud at your comment, surprising.

there's easier ways to check that, for example haveibeenpwned.com

i dont know their specific methods for collecting data breaches. However it's probably more effective than asking around on the dark web lol

TOR is safe to use but TOR does not guarantee anonymity and it is also not a 'Dark Web' :P
There are websites that can check if your credentials appear in any of the publicly disclosed data breaches like this one https://monitor.firefox.com/
