"Cute"

Have people ever used cute to describe an idea, presentation, etc. of yours?

What exactly is it that separates something eccentric and harmless, from something more ...I don't even know what

There's a certain "realisticness" that only gets taken seriously if it's compartmentalized and identified a certain way, I think


Like some of my song ideas, there's one that basically rearranges already-existing concepts in kind of an odd joke.

Creating a unique sound would be the more "real" way, for example.


If you display that you "mean business", then you get that corresponding reaction. I guess certain business of an INTP or something might just be dismissed by most people. Don't care
It's not like you have to stick to one flavor of business anyway

I think it's less how the idea is presented and more on how
the viewer or recipient of whatever "it" is wants to interpret
the idea or matter of business or what have you.

I don't often think things are "cute" outside of small infants
I don't have to be around for more than five minutes, I am a
serious person. I don't regard much as "cute". Usually when
others intend for things to be "cute", it's a matter of manipulation.
They wish for you to think it's cute so that it can aide them
in overcoming/manipulating/whatever you.

Yes. Cute has the connotation of being harmless.
Hence also the opposite: an acute tumor.

I tend to recognise cute as something used to describe puppies and babies (disgusting pink flesh blobs that they are).

I did use the word cute for a while to mean 'mildly amusing' since that was closer to what I feld when viewing said puppies and flesh blobs.
