After half an hour of searching, I decided I couldn't find by default what I was looking for. I ended up squashing an eclipse of the sun (in gimp) so that it fits in the forum (this was the main reason), which also makes a cool ellipse shape!

I think the audience deserves to know why you picked this avatar and what significance it has. I sure would like to know, for having invested the time to investigate this thread, I am left somewhat unsatisfied with the original post.

cool thx for the update; now the motivation for change is clearer; now I'm wondering why the specific solar eclipse;

do you identify more with the SUN? or the EARTH? or the MOON? or SPACE in general!? ehhh

The crucifix-patterned windows were only part of the reason, the main thing was that I wanted a cooler and more expressive avatar.

As for what I identify with, it's the ellipse shape that's made and the way that the sun just shines out from behind it to make you wonder whether it's a perfect ellipse (not eclipse) or not.

And that's the reason I didn't want it square. It's too boring.

Yes, but I edited it in gimp (similar to photoshop but free) to change its shape and fit it in the forum.

Hehehe... Ah well, I changed it anyway, maybe it was cooler but this is (I think) better suited.
