most of what i like (see my whyd account) has so much individuality that it goes beyond a genre, if that is possible.

on the other hand, since i never listen to typical genre music any more, i will sometimes hear an average piece (perhaps pop or electro) and it sounds all new and special too me :D

but i don't like "experimental" as in "we have no idea how to make music or what it would sound like, but these are some sounds that happened. suck it up, hipster"

doesn't matter, if they are are thinking it old or new.

most musicians think about music, even more so when they hear it.
