most of what i like (see my whyd account) has so much individuality that it goes beyond a genre, if that is possible.

on the other hand, since i never listen to typical genre music any more, i will sometimes hear an average piece (perhaps pop or electro) and it sounds all new and special too me

but i don't like "experimental" as in "we have no idea how to make music or what it would sound like, but these are some sounds that happened. suck it up, hipster"
