Like any advice how to approach a sad INFP. Do they withdraw just so you could talk to them? When you talk to them, do you talk about the actual issue or just random talk just for the sake of talking ie company.

Its my cousin, and she's awesome, probably the only one I get along with in my entire family.

Don't say anything. Don't touch them. Don't try to divert their attention from their feelings as that implies their feelings are unacceptable, but don't affirm their feelings because THEY DON'T NEED YOUR PATRONIZATION . Don't do nothing either though because that means you DON'T CARE . Don't offer practical solutions because they DON'T NEED YOUR HELP .

If you're at fault, explain your line of thinking and how it makes/made you feel throughout the process. Mutual understanding is the goal.

If you're not at fault, there's not much you can do other than make it known that you're available for consultation if they need help.

Yeah, junk food is probably the best way to go. I never tried that.

Cover yourself in chocolate and hug them. I think this might have the capacity to cheer anyone up.

Oh you could also blow cannabis smoke in her face. I do that to my cat and it calms him down. INFPs are like cats, right?

simple gestures of affection that don't necessarily make the affection obvious, listening, going along with whatever they want to talk about even if it isn't the thing that's making them upset, empathising but not to the point of personal pain, nothing novel or cheesy, affection for infps has to feel genuine and not be traditionally feelingsy cos they"re Fi dom not Fe, generally though, be there and be chilled
