Well, there's a intersection there with Ne.

EDIT: Haven't watched this video yet, but I watched a 2 minute condensation and I thought the MBTI instructor was kind of flakey. Like, trusting more in the test and fitting him into the results, versus using her own perceptions as an independent data source to help validate the test results. Meh.

I'll have to watch the full clip at some point, since the video I saw was just excerpted.

I suspect INFP is his correct type. I'm forever posting that I think there's a significant tendency for INFs to come out INT on typical MBTI tests (including the official test), so when an IN (and I think that's what Colbert is) comes out F, I'm inclined to take that as a pretty good F indicator.

Myers briggs can be pretty vague, so it doesn't surprise me that he'd test as INFP. But it is surprising that anyone takes his typing seriously, lol. Really, out of all the choices, INFP? Sure, why not.

Celebrity Types has him pegged as an ENTP FWIW...

But somehow that doesn't exactly fit with what I know about ENTPs...The typing may in fact be accurate...Either that or he mistyped as an I when he in fact should be an ENFP...

NP is possible. But someone explain why a I rather than E? Or F rather than T?

He vibes nerdy-IN to me. But it's also worth noting that lots of performers of various kinds (including actors and comedians) are introverts, and it's not hard to be misled if you pretty much only see them when they're "on."

If you read the Wikipedia article, I suspect you'll come away (as I did) with significantly more F points than T points. And I'd say he gives off more of a warm, nice-guy vibe than many comics do. (Compare him to guys like Letterman and Maher, for example.)

Yeah NFP for sure, still don't know about E vs I. How would you distinguish between ENFP vs INFP. His biography doesn't seems very introverted in nature and gives off more of Ne dominant vibe(I know you don't care for CF's much).
