I attempted yet again to try and read through more than a paragraph in Lyra's OPs (I can't read more than a paragraph before I realise that I will have to re-read the whole thing many, many times over before I can finally see the point being made from the right perspective. I can't really bring myself to do that.)
Then I realised that maybe from her perspective, what she says couldn't be clearer. Maybe this is the problem for many INTPs who feel misunderstood by most of the people they meet; the INTP's ideas and method of thinking is far too alien to the majority of people for them to comprehend it.
I, for one, wouldn't think about something if it did not have something that had either: something to do with my interests, something that was practical for me to know, something that could help me, something that was interesting.
Things that are interesting, can only appear to me so, because they had been written in a manner that would enable me to get a basic grasp of the concepts and for my interest to develop from there.
So whilst cracked.com maybe written in a crude manner, I often think and research more about technologies or concepts posed by the writers there than Lyra's concepts. Mostly because even when Lyra's concepts may be more interesting quite often I am put off because I don't see any kind of return for the time I spend re-reading her posts and at initial impressions it all sounds very chaotic.
I am basically in this situation the person completely baffled for a moment and then uninterested by an INTP's concepts.
