From a business perspective this is genius, he's selling oversized trash bags for $17US each, bags which if he's having them made in any significant quantity would be so cheap they're almost free, like 10,000 bags for $100 with shipping from china included.

This is a problem and it's going to get worse, as the world's population grows and our industrial capabilities develop it becomes increasingly easy to sell neigh worthless crap. Even if he sells only a few hundred bags and the rest get thrown away he's still made a profit and those bags are now nothing but rubbish, indeed dangerous rubbish that could interfere with aircraft and/or choke wildlife.

Should this be stopped and if so how?

not primarily for convenience. it's mostly because you have to con someone to make a living in capitalism, where you are doomed to death, if you don't. lies create demand, demand creates profit, profit of one implies poverty of another, poverty creates demand and susceptibility to lies. few people have convenient lives. sure, grab a starbucks to burn out your adreenals so you can stay awake during work while you digest toxic food.

We should just enjoy our own filth and decay. The human race isn't much more than a virus anyway. We never had a collective goal, except to multiply and survive. We have the same core values as a virus.

We are more evolved and have higher goals and since these goals are evolved through brain structures, they are automatically collective: just give proper nutrition to kids and they will grow into those higher goals (granted they are allowed to socialize and discover their potential without restriction), adding one goal every five years or so. You or me may not be functional examples of manifesting all of those higher goals, that have emerged so far, but that does not mean we should destroy the planet and intoxicate our children's brains with toxic foods. Evolution has gone through how many years and anthropoid generations to come here? And now we should just throw our evolutionary future away, because thinking of it makes us feel like loosers and we don't have the confidence to handle this in a humble manner? Please stay away from any weaponry.
