So last week I was assigned a project where I have to choose a career, research it, and basically make a presentation out of it.. I ended up choosing Physicist, and now I have to interview one. Now I have no idea where to find someone to interview, and I'm not sure what to do--the project is due soon. Have any of you guys studied physics and could answer ten general questions about the job?

Somewhere North of you.
Depending on how soon this project is due, could you not just either email the physics department at one of the local universities, or go to one of the local universities in person (after school, of course), and talk to a physics prof there??? I know that's what I'd be doing in a situation like this, although I'm pretty sure you'd be required to make an appointment to sit down and talk to a prof for long enough to interview him...

I wish I had the opportunity to do that presentation. I would choose 'wage-slave'. There's so many to interview! :D

I was one, once upon a time.

So if you wanted answers to general questions, why didn't you post them already?

Bump. Last week has come.
Following Architect's suggestion, I will post some questions I came up with--ten in total. I guess they aren't really that general..so yeah, physics.
1. Where did you attend college?

2. Why did you choose this occupation?

3. Are you satisfied with your career?

4. Is your career stable?

5. Who inspired you to follow this occupation?

6. How long did you have to go to school for your career?

7. What kind of person do you have to be to succeed in your career?

8. How many hours do you have to work per week?

9. Do you work for someone, or are you independent?

10. Was it difficult to find a job after college?

if any of you guys are up to answer these, it would really help.. and keep me from having to call someone *shudder*
