Well. Here we are. This is my first time posting to this forum, and only my second time ever posting to a forum in general, so forgive me if I'm super awkward. I don't know forum customs. I don't know how it's done. DON'T JUDGE ME.

Anyways, about myself. I'm an INTP, but every time I take the test, it spits out a 1% for thinking. It's a conflict I think about a lot. Maybe I was born a feeler, but looked up to thinkers? Maybe I was born a thinker, but influenced by feelers (mother, friends, etc.)? I know for sure I want to be a thinker. Does that mean I'm a feeler in denial? I have no ideas. Great questions for people who actually know what's what about MBTI. I really only have passing knowledge. Also, may I say, I think I may have the highest percentage perception of almost anyone in the world. Seriously. I am the single most unproductive person I know. Procrastination. Laziness. God knows what else. Hey, at least I'm not prejudiced or whatever. Again, I don't know a whole bunch about MBTI.

Obsessions! I have lots. Here are a few:

• Youtube! (I would love to be a Youtuber)
• Animation in general
• Webcomics (Particularly XKCD and anything by KC Green)
• The end of the world
• Dystopian futures (not to sound hipster, but...I did like them before they were all the rage)
• Psychology and Neurology
• Theoretical and other kinds of physics
• Mathematics
• Linguistics
• Sci-fi and a genre I just found called science fantasy
• Steampunk
• Sociology
• Rock music
• Birds
• Horror
• Comedy--my strange mix of intellectual and potty humor
• Dark comedy, of course

Wow, now that I've typed it all out in a list, I realize how many obsessions I have. More than I thought, at least.

And may I ask what's with these emotes?

Tv shows I'm currently watching: Supernatural, South Park, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, and The Simpsons. There are quite a few more I've been meaning to start.

Oh boy, I could go on and on. I love playing music. I've recently found out that I'm a decent actor. I wish I could draw, but am honestly mediocre at best. The point is, this post has gone on way longer than intended. So thanks for reading (if you made it this far) and...talk to me? Oh god, I really don't know how to forum. Bleh.

I personally think the most reliable way to figure out one's type is by looking at the actual functions. An INTP has Ti as the dominant function. In that sense, INTPs' 'modus operandi' is constantly trying to structure things into coherent systems inside their heads, very much like Te-dominants instead try to structure the outside world into ordered systems.

What kind of mathematics are you obsessed with?

Could you please explain what "trying to structure things into coherent systems" means? I've seen the phrase used before, but I'm not entirely sure I grasp the meaning.

As for the kind of mathematics, I have no idea. All I know is that there is something very satisfying about the logic involved in math. I love finding new ways to get the answer or answers based on a set of rules, and being able to get from a bunch of numbers and symbols to an answer.
