Life is a side scroller, keep moving.
Does anyone here play COD? Last week I got number 1 on the weekly Black Ops leaderboards for Hardcore Search and Destroy. I take pride in it because its the game mode that takes the most strategy to play and my strategy is unique and better than most. I also play Headquarters both core and hc. How often do you play (any game mode) how quickly did you get better at it and what is your strategy?
In HC Search, I use what I call the "KITE" strategy all maps have 3 main routes: left, right, and middle. Consider the diamond shape of a kite. It has 4 sides and line right up the middle. My strategy is take the middle route and double back by flanking either left or right side while moving as quickly as possible. The kite has 4 angles and each angle is an important spot. Your team's spawn is on the "South" angle and the enemy's "North." The angle to the left, the "West" angle is Bomb A the "East" angle is Bomb B. If one can learn this they will figure out routes and general enemy movement. The other advanced aspect of this strategy is what I a call the "Contact Point" The contact point is defined as the point where one player meets an enemy player somewhere towards the middle of one of the three routes. I will not get into this part as much because there are other parts to taking advantage of the contact point IE: using perks like lightweight/marathon to get to the contact point first for the element of surprise etc. This is the format I use to DOMINATE people in this game.
