Boredom

You said, "I want an interesting and deeper conversation." I almost missed that. What interests? You haven't said. That is what small talk is for. It's a lead in to get friendly and spring your interest on them. If they don't get friendly, turn away.

Suppose I give you a homework assignment. This is a very big forum with lots of threads of all types. Go to some. Read some. Then come back here and describe your experience. Did none grab you? Did any grab you? The next step would be to try to post something, But maybe not yet. I'm not the best teacher on this. Actually my motive is to see if I will have any effect on what your reaction will be.

Well, my interests are music which I suppose you already guessed by now, and also I enjoy talking about philosophy and psychology, science can also be very interesting sometimes.

And about this homework, lets just say that the psychology section is where I hang out the most. Also I like to read about INTP characteristics as i can relate to most of it. It was really fun getting to know that I was an INTP and read about it, and of course finding this forum and ask questions.

Assignment II. Go to some sight you believe has possibilities. Don't just read. Deliberately try some small talk. See if you get any reaction, smacked or positive. See if that does anything. It may be dull, but you are making a test. If you are sincere, so much the better. The idea is not to enjoy yourself. You are taking a risk. The idea is to see if it can lead somewhere that will be enjoyable or otherwise of value. The secret to losing boredom is to get involved. If you don't like the involvment, this is just a forum. You can withdraw.

BTW, music is not just music. I happen to like this but everyone else hates it. Not relaxing enough I suppose.
