Well, page 18 has an illustration of a train and El Palo Alto twin redwoods, so I'll go to page 19: " The Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower and Golden Gate Bridge are all man-made structures that represent proud cities in their most idyllic glory..This is the story of Californias oldest living landmark, the tree known as El Palo Alto."

The closest book is a 128 page "studymate" A4 Grid Book.
Page 18 is a blank 5mm ruled grid.

At Jaycar (think Radioshack) I can get generic electronics project boxes, I mark out the arrangement of panel-mount components on the grid paper, cut it out, paste it to the box with water-soluble glue and that gives me an accurate guide to where to drill holes or where to cut with the scroll saw.

The Closest book to me is a copy of the Quran stacked on top of the Greatest Knight by Thomas Asbridge.

My arabic is a little bit rusty so I read another translated version.

Al-Baqarah verse 114
"And who is more cruel except those who forbid in the house of God to mention His name, and tries to tear it down? They are not deserving to enter except with fear".

You know, average islamic narrative.

The Greatest Knight:

"Whatever scheme was entertained, it was clear that Robert Fitzhubert Badly misjudged John's Character"

Asbridge is explaining the very first English Civil War which was Called the Anarchy, which was started by the Death of King Henry I in 1135, the period which the Civil War rage was one of lawlesness and political chaos since two of the stongest nobles: Empress Matilda and Stephen de Bloss was throwing everything they had at eachother and was forgetting their administratice duties.

In this Civil War Robert Fitzhubert, some mercenary from Ypres, was sieging the Castle of Marlborough, the defenders were John Marshall, John Tricked Fitzhubert by implying he was changing sides and invited him in, When Fitzhubert went inside expecting a parley, the gates wete slammed behind him and his men were ambushed, he surrendered and later was hanged.

It was a phonebook for me, so I'm gonna pass it was an AC place named after a notorious artist.

The second closest book was: Recommendation Engines (MIT PRESS ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE SERIES)

-"as well as enterprise- productivity. Marketers and sales-"
It's not that wide of a book. 230 pgs or so of content.

Someone on my local Buy Nothing Group wanted a set of encyclopedias for her classroom for free and was asking. I do not have one, but I went to search on ebay.
Funk and Wagnalls or Enyclopedia Britannica or even OLD Popular Mechanics, now this one might be fun to browse through.

If you haven't heard of buy nothing, its really good place to give things away OR get things for free, just type in buy nothing and add your city, in the united states.

From "Amazing Face Reading" by Mac Fulfer.

The eye angle will indicate whether we are optimists, pessimists, or realists. You can find this angle by drawing an imaginary line

Line four:
FROM THE INSIDE CORNER OF EACH EYE TO THE OUTSIDE CORNER OF EACH EYE.

The right eye reflects professional or business outlook, the left eye is how we view relationships and our personality.

No nation has been more pragmatic in the day to day conduct of its diplomacy, or more ideological in the pursuit of its historic moral convictions.

"It was really during World War I and its aftermath, in the mirror of American power and propaganda, that Europe discovered a new sense of its own 'backwardness', a point driven home with even greater force after 1945."

From the Faber Book of Northern Folk Tales, "How some wild animals became tame ones" from Lapland.

Stop, stop cried the boy after him., and there was something in his voice that made the horse pull up.
What is the matter, asked he.

(A boy warned each animal about being roped and unable to get free, followed by a sheep, a cow, and other farm animals did the same and all were caught and could not get free).
The moral was, all the animals that went to the Millers wedding came back.
They were self willed and conceited and wouldn't listen to good advice, they and their children
have been servants to man to this very day.
