Considering the rapid advancements in the various streams of technology, especially those which apply specifically to the evolution of our species, aka Transhumanism, I thought it would be a good idea to begin a thread highlighting those technological advancements which are on the 'bleeding edge' of technology.

I would like to begin with these two I came across from H+ Magazine...

Until now we did! We had a very complex means of flashing Morse Code using the sun reflected off of large shiny belt buckles. It's the closest thing we could devise to actually having crotch to crotch communication, other then a bizarre puppet show that ended up being too complicated, very unsuitable for children, and difficult for communication across great distances (except for me, I had no trouble with the distance). The puppet show also required women to lay down but the women's lib movement took care of that one.
