Best game ever: Kerbal Space Program

Dungeon Crawler: Path of Exile (when you just need mindless clicking with in-depth build design)
Pixilated Adventure: Starbound
MMO: Acheage (PVP sandbox with ships and real time trade routs. Best MMO since Asheron's Call)

I've played a whole range of games. Whilst I'm nostalgic about the classic N64 games I'm at my most comfortable with WoW and minecraft. Both games allow me to sit back, relax and play at my own pace. I like games where I can customise my character/environment enough so that I can set my own goals or play according to what mindset I'm in.

At the moment I'm excited about the No Man's Sky game being developed at the moment. A lot of hype and subsequent potential to fall flat. But a game like that where you set your own rules combined with a possibility of mods being added in the future (I would like to think Star Warsesque or minecraft; manipulating the environment) greatly appeals to me.

I used to play StarCraft. It seemed like it took forever to do anything, let alone win.

Remind of my childhood with the kiddy passion for Brood war. It was bitter but it's worth after winning a match. Have you still play it on Iccup or not?

If you are looking for a casual play game that has some retro elements, impossible choices and generally realistic life or death strategy I recommend This War of Mine.

Started Playing Star Conflict lately, seriously fun but I' rather Play LoL.
Kerbal Space Program is also really fun.

And yet I am still waiting for No Man Sky. (If the game is nearly as good as the hype, It'll be a treat.)

I've played most of these... one I really liked was a PC game called tentacle wars.

I played runescape so much, I was, admittedly, addicted at some point. I wasted so much time on that. After they implemented the grand exchange, the trading system was broken and player interaction was severely diminished.

I played mine craft for some time, but then I went straight into Redstone but got bored because I worked with it a ton, and they he novelty wore off after some time I guess.

For all the idlers like cookieclicker, I just download an auto clicker and let it run. In other words, I no longer play idlers.

The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt made me fall in love with RPGs. I used to hate the genre.

I'm thinking it's DotA2, and am now overthinking whether or not this idea will get shot down. However, it's a game that (as someone mentioned earlier) allows for socialization with a common framework for understanding and goal without any superficial garbage. It allows for deep analysis, and if you're playing with other non-INTP folk, sometimes your analyses can be translated into real strategies. Also, winning at a high level in DotA is impossible without intense creativity.

Gaming is an interesting way to put all the wonderful imaginings and theories to the test.

The people at CDProjectRed set the standard, that is for sure.
