Which careers would make it to your TOP 5 list + a short why?

in no particular order:

Detective (I think I could be decent at it)
Road planner (Looks fun. Plan a road, someone else build it)
Self-employed (My current situation. Has it's ups'n downs)
Architect (Obvious enough)
Fire figther (think it could be a fit)

I only really have one and that would be lifetime student. I would be able to pursue anything that interests me and I'd always be learning. The only thing stopping me is money.

Neurosurgeon. - I like brains.
Organ harvester. - I like anatomy.
Mortician. - I like bodies.
Author. - I enjoy literature.
Day Trader. - I love stocks ^_^.

Athlete - I like to push my body to the limit
Musician - attracted to the freedom and creativity it allows
Trading - Current job, challenging and good money
Photo Journalist - Like the travel, freedom and creativity allowed
Intelligence/counter intelligence - esoteric to me, so not sure if its the best

Overall, imo get to meet a lot of great personalities on the way

Hmm..I like positions where I can learn, earn a living and a few other things. I enjoy being a tax attorney; I also hope to teach. I wouldn't mind a position in the hard core sciences like a physicist that also teaches or a neurosurgeon who teaches. The brain is fascinating.

3.social science researcher-for the sake of using the research to create theorycraft
4.Think tank employee-prolly my dream job. get fed data and theorycraft all day
5.Programmer

Pretty much anything mentally intensive that has to do with design. but not with actually building it, leave that to sensors

I take it we're not supposed to worry how much the job pays, as long as it's enjoyable.

So here's a few in random order:

- a therapist of some sort (would probably end up over analyzing problems, though)
- a professional poker player (unstable income worries me slightly)
- a professional prostitute tester (I hear this actually exists)
- a corporate planner of some sort (a great way to use one's imagination)
-a multi millionare (but this one doesn't count as a profession, right?)
