I have never watched it but its seems like a good alternative to trek.

I grew up watching b5 a lot, but I stopped watching it when young, so I remember it a little only.
I was at the age where the space ship stuff was more interesting than people talking smack about each other.
That said it is a good show.
Nuances of characters get appreciated later in life.
