So yeah, hi!

About two weeks ago, I discovered I am an INTP, not an INTJ. (That result probably came about due to forced organizational skills- thank you Asian parents.)

Anyhoo, the epiphany came because I properly began researching the functions e.t.c, and so rekindled my obsession with the MBTI.

So, am thrilled to be an INTP and thrilled to be part of this forum!

a letter being evidence of something. funny concept. not appealing to a perceptive type though. i was trying to transmitt a complex insight and i don't care if no one gets it. communication is a luck thing, you know. live long and prosper.

My P/J are very close, I test near the middle (largely due to the influence of a father who dominated the household, was himself a military man, and who was an ISFJ). So, I understand where you're coming from.

That said, it's not such a bad thing, having a little more J than your average INTP.

At school it helps a helluva lot; tonnes of homework e.t.c, constant exams. Yet my true nature is to procrastinate like crazy.
Socially, I need to plan. I'm going to a sleepover tomorrow, and I'm kinda nervous, even though all I have to do is eat sweets and try not to kill anyone in my sleep.

It's surprisingly difficult not to do, especially when you're specifically trying not to do it, like grinning as you walk through a metal detector, as soon as the thought crosses your mind it's all your face wants to do.
