I think this test is a creativity test, using visual perception instead of words. Both systems work on receiving information depends on the coordination between perception and interpretation.
The stero type concept of "Dreamer" is that they will not do anything apart from dream, and the "Doer" will not wasting their time dreaming.
But it does not have to be one way or another. In fact, there is a job that require imagination, for example the architects, they used their vision and imagination creat their work. They do not have do the construct themselves, it is the engineer's or the builders's job to make the ideas become reality.
Or the philosophers, most of their work have been done in their minds.
Logic and imagination can work really well together. My point is that it does not have to be one way or another.

This test was pretty bad. A lot of the time, the pictures could have easily been replaced with words (why a picture of a person writing instead of just the word "writing"?) and at other times none of the choices seemed to fit. I got Bright Spark, but I don't think that means anything.

On a related note, I checked out the Movies quiz on the same site, and although it was pretty bad too, I couldn't help but laugh at the fact that they actually included Audition as one of the options for "a great date movie". Kiri-kiri-kiri...

And apparently 29% of the people taking the test would watch The Da Vinci Code for "a bit of culture", rather than Amadeus, 2001, Ran and several others. Am I the only one finding that horribly, horribly wrong?

I think the test is different from the typical "cliche". The value of the test is entirely depend on one's perceptions. Perception is subjective.

I do not think the test is wrong. What's wrong is the interpretation of the meaning.
I have no interest in what kind of movie other people see on their dates.
I agree that intelligent mean nothing.

"A picture mean more than a thousand words." I do really like the look of these photo actually. Love the absurdity of optimists.

It is possible.

Actually, City of God is a good film. It maybe interesting for someone who's interesting in cinematography. In fact, there are interesting issues in the film, about society and crime, there are hidden psychological issues for intellectual discussion as well.

What kind of movie will an INTP watch if he/she dates another INTP?

This test may not be the most accurate test and may not be like the test that we already do. But it is not that bad.

A lot of the choices just seemed arbitrary. I brought up Audition because that movie is the antithesis of a date movie. City of God just seems arbitrary.

To escape, I would probably watch something gory, violent, nihilistic and exploitative. There were no such options.
If I was feeling blue, I would watch something extremely bleak and tragic, or something gory, violent, nihilistic and exploitative. There were no such options.
