The Geeks don't really want to know stuff, they just want to be part of the crowd but are too weird to be part of it, hence they create their own little bubble where it's okay to be a failure, only watch stupid kids shows, and never develop as persons. I see them as part of the mainstream crowd in essence, learning only enough to get by, because once they've established themselves in groups they stagnate intellectually.



The Dorks seem to be people with diagnoses who are weird for reals and not just fail like geeks. I can respect that.

I would of figured geek. I like to build computers in my head and will research benchmarks vs cost of different processors and video cards. I even spend time modifying and reverse engineering games and software. I also like to build my own software. How that not geeky? Apparently I have to like comics.

Oh and buying the latest user friendly IPhone is the opposite of geeky, unless you buy them to hack them and put in a new system with your own customizable gadgets. Try downloading 15 different operating systems and testing them all then testing all the software that can work on each one. I used to wipe my hard drive every month before I bought 4 drives and partitioned them to do my testing. I guess I am not so geeky that I would build my own operating system not that I haven't looked into it.
