Another INTP... Hi :)

I call myself Lane. I am 16. I can be funny sometimes, but mostly I am serious. I used to go on INTJf but I don't really like the people there and the people here seem better (as in more accepting, and generally more pleasant).

I'm very interested in languages, politics, economics, computer science, fantasy, sci-fi, clandestine operations, theoretical science/mathematics, systems, fine arts, the earth, drugs, "messed-up" people, and philosophy.

I worry a lot about my future and I doubt myself a lot. I doubt that I am an INTP because of this (however, INTP is all I have ever gotten on the tests).

I'm awkward, I stutter a lot, I'm intimidated by "pretty" people (no difference in female or male), I'm intimidated by social situations, I'm really sloppy, i draw well (but sometimes I do too much to the painting), I get mad easily when things that I expect to work, do not work, and rarely do people listen to me in group convos. I hold a high respect for honesty but I lie a lot to avoid getting in trouble. I rarely look people in the eye, I don't like people who "put on a show" whether it is about being smart or being cool.

Sorry, if this was weird. The Internet is my home and I believe that it breeds many types of weird -- myself included. Thanks for reading this if you bothered. Somehow, I am optimistic about this and I do think some of you read this. Thanks again

Hello from a fellow ~16-year-old INTP.

I am interested in languages as well – I find that they are like codes, and other languages can be used to break those codes. For example, did you know that Gaelic and Russian actually have a lot in common? I speak English and Hebrew, and am currently learning Russian, Spanish and Arabic (yes, I'm interested in intelligence ops).

I draw a lot as well. I like to draw exact replicas of things that I see, so that they look real.

I like puzzles and codes, but I also find myself doubting myself, and being afraid that I have jumped to an incorrect conclusion. Have you found a good way to deal with this?

Everything in this paragraph is true of me as well. I don't stutter, though – I speak slurred sometimes.
